About

From data to intelligence.

Since 2010, Datum Analysis has built systems that gather, coordinate, and analyze large volumes of data — then present it so patterns are obvious.

Raw data is only potential. The value is in how it's organized — to reveal patterns, surface hidden details, reduce liabilities, and let you respond to customer and industry trends before they become problems.

That's the job our systems do: pull any number of internal and external sources into a single searchable stream, and put the analysis — not the collection — at your fingertips. Tools can be built for a broad category or a single case, so the same platform that spots an industry-wide trend can parse what's happening with one product or one customer.

Because the logic is ours end to end, refinements turn around fast: new data sources can be added or reshaped in days, not months, and web-based delivery puts the results in front of everyone in your organization who needs them.

How we got here.

  1. 1995

    Wayne State University

Khaldon J. Saadeh arrives in the U.S. for postgraduate study, after a B.Sc. in Computer Science from Yarmouk University and systems work building custom school-operations software in Oman.

  2. 1996

    Chrysler Corporation

At Chrysler he builds a next-generation digital data-gathering system and a proprietary online issue-tracking tool — work recognized with the Vice President's Award three times.

  3. 2005

    eResearch Analysis

He founds a consultancy on a simple insight: finding critical data in an interconnected world is getting harder, not easier. The work exposes exactly where existing collection systems fall short.

  4. 2010

    Datum Analysis

Datum Analysis is founded in Troy, Michigan to build the tools those systems couldn't be — gathering, coordinating, and analyzing large volumes of data in one place.

  5. Today

    Datrato

The flagship platform runs six automotive-safety data sources through one search interface, refreshed daily, with statistical analysis built in.

Khaldon J. Saadeh is the founder and chief engineer of Datum Analysis. He earned a B.Sc. in Computer Science from Yarmouk University in Irbid, Jordan, then came to the U.S. in 1995 for postgraduate work at Wayne State. He started the eResearch Analysis consultancy in 2005, and founded Datum Analysis in 2010 to turn scattered data sources into one searchable stream.

Khaldon's background spans software, statistics, and data mining: formal SAS programming training in advanced statistics, and years of hands-on systems work — from streamlining a school's operations in Oman with custom software, to Chrysler, where his digital data-gathering system and online issue-tracking tool changed how the company managed data.

A three-time recipient of Chrysler's Vice President's Award, he founded the eResearch Analysis consultancy in 2005 and Datum Analysis in 2010 — each step toward the same goal: tools that transcend the limits of existing data collection systems.
